We would like to inform you about the change in the laboratory assignment process at the 2023 KAIST International Summer School. This year students will be responsible for directly applying to the laboratory and receiving approval for their laboratory assignment. Applicants in Track 2 must apply for the laboratory of their interest by email and receive approval for laboratory assignment from the lab by April 21, Friday.

Please visit /programs/program2 for the list of available laboratories in 2023 KISS. The information could be updated depending on the lab's situation.

Laboratory Application Procedure

After 1) submitting the online application form and 2) paying the application fee on the registration page, an email regarding the lab assignment process will be sent to Track 2 applicants. Based on the laboratory application guideline in the email, please apply to your desired lab via email with application documents. The required documents for lab application are the application form and an English CV. After reviewing the application documents, the lab will decide whether to accommodate the applicant or not. Once applicants receive the approval for lab assignments, they can start discussing research subjects with the mentor-student and professor from the lab.
